I am a medical doctor with 11 years of experience in global health. After my MBA (in Venture, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship) in Israel, I fell in love with innovation. Currently, I work as an innovation expert and the founder of Hutzpa Centre for Innovation – a social-enterprise promoting innovation in Africa. It’s under this platform that I run the Young Innovation Leaders (YIL) Fellowship – a 4-month annual fellowship in innovation leadership. Since 2018, I have been able to recruit/ train over 90 young talented Nigerians and Ghanaians on how to inspire and lead innovations and to solve complex challenges within their communities by applying innovation concepts. I have guided them to create over a dozen innovations which are at different stages of development and commercialization.
